簡(jiǎn)介：
Epoxymatrixcompositesreinforcedwithshortenedramiefiberwerepreparedbyathermosettingprocess.Theeffectsofvarying,(i)soakingconcentration,(ii)compressionmoldingtemperatureandcompressionmoldingtime,(iii)thecontentofshortfibersonimpactpropertiesandtensilepropertiesofthecomposites,wereinvestigated.Itwasfoundthattreatmentoframiefiberswithalkalisolutionresultedinal-1.2timesimprovementinmechanicalpropertiesoverthatoftheuntreatedfibers.Bothimpactpropertiesandtensilepropertieswerefoundtobestronglydependentuponthecontentoftheramiefiberandtheinterfacialtensionbetweenfiberandresinwithrespecttotheorientationofshortenedramiefiber.Itwasconcludedthattoughnessisdominatedbythefiberreinforcedarchitecture,ratherthantheirvolumefraction.
